Justin Banh: Not quite the result I wanted, but I’m glad I get to come back with something. Fought 3 matches, finished the first 2 pretty quickly with an arm bar and a triangle, lost my last match on points. Thanks Omar French for cornering me. Thanks Danny Tat for always being there to support and compete alongside with me, such a short time in the game and already willing to travel across country to compete just shows how hungry you are. Thanks Sunny Ha and Bonny Lam Ha for coming out to support. Thanks Tatianna Portalatin for making the trip out here with me and keeping me on the right mindset when things were getting stressful. And of course Master Renato Tavares Bjj for getting me to this level and always pushing me to do the best I possibly can. The best decision I ever made was joining Legacy Martial Arts Vero Beach.
Amanda Lima Sanford: I would like to thank everyone who was with me. All my teammates my masters, instructors, my friends, family…I tried so hard but I couldn’t bring gold this time. The journey to be here was so precious. People helping me every day, motivating and believing. That’s worth a lot for me. Thank you so much for all your support❤
It’s hard to fail, but it is what it is.
